New TV series

When I was in the States this summer, I met a sweet, vivacious woman named Rita.  We have started collaborating on a TV series  about the relationship between a woman in her mid-40s and a younger man (in his mid-20s).  There is a producer interested, so it’s very exciting.  It is definitely NOT in my realm of experience, so it is very challenging and stimulating as an author to try to put myself in the characters’ minds.  I will definitely keep you posted!  Come back regularly for news about this project!

  1. I’m learning all kinds of interesting things about the particularities of writing scripts as opposed to novels. Apparantly, scripts for the theatre have a different form than scripts for TV and one mustn’t indicate camera angles, etc. because that give the impression that the writer thinks the cameramen and the directors don’t know what they’re doing. I’ll have to start over again, but live and learn. At least now I’ll know better what they’re looking for. A new start in the new year 2011.
